The Marion Senior Center offers area seniors a wide variety of diverse and dynamic services, including:
Transportation Services
If you or someone you know age 60 and older are seeking transportation for appointments, the Marion Senior Center is here to help. We provide transportation (on a donation basis) to and from appointments in Marion County. Transportation is available every Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am and 3:30 pm, excluding holidays.
Call our Transportation Coordinator at (740) 387-5444 at least 24 to 48 hours in advance to request this service. Handicap-accessible transportation is also available for wheelchair clients.

Personal Shopper
We have a personal shopper available to help homebound seniors age 60 and older. If you could use ongoing assistance with shopping needs, please contact our Social Service Coordinator at (740) 387-6100.
Information & Referral
Our information and referral services are the first step toward answering your questions or helping you solve problems. We can assist you with Social Security, Medicare, HEAP, or Golden Buckeye Card questions and applications. Our Social Services Coordinator also provides information and referrals to other resources if there is a service we do not provide.
Dining Center Meals
We serve lunch at 11:30 am Tuesday through Friday in our congregate dining center. Anyone age 60 and older can select between a hot or cold meal to enjoy and meet new friends in the process! These delicious and nutritious meals are prepared and served by LifeCare Alliance.

Meals on Wheels
We also provide home-delivered meals every Monday through Friday for homebound seniors age 60 and older living in Marion County. These meals are prepared by our partners at LifeCare Alliance and delivered by their dedicated team of volunteers.
Food Box Program
The Marion Senior Center partners with Mid-Ohio Food Collective to provide free boxes of nonperishable groceries to seniors age 60 and older. You may be eligible if you are a resident of Marion County and meet certain income requirements. Call our Social Service Coordinator at (740) 387-6100 for details.
