Public Meeting to Discuss Marion Downtown Historic District Nomination

The State Historic Preservation Office will hold an in-person public meeting on at the Harding Centre (267 W. Center St.) on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 3:00 pm to discuss the nomination of the Marion Downtown Historic District.  Comments from property owners and public officials regarding the proposed historic district, which is part of the submission, will be received during this public meeting. 

The Marion Downtown Historic District is roughly bounded by Center Street to the north, Pleasant Street on the south, Vine Street on the east, and Orchard St. to the west.  CLICK HERE to see a map that shows the approximate area of the district.
