Mayor Scott Schertzer is announcing that on Tuesday, September 4th at 6:00 p.m. detours will begin being posted in downtown Marion to accommodate activities for the 2012 Marion Popcorn Festival. Streets will remain closed until the festival’s conclusion at midnight on Saturday and may remain closed
Mayor Scott Schertzer is announcing the following closures for the City of Marion on Monday, September 3rd in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Columbia Gas has announced to the City of Marion that the company will spend over $1.2 million for a Pipeline Replacement Project in the Marion Area which will enhance natural gas service.
